Caught in an unfair loan or instalment plan? Let us take a look.
If you entered into a loan, credit, financing, or instalment agreement in the UAE and believe the cost, the disclosure, or the collection conduct was unfair, our lawyers may be able to review your situation — and, where we can, help you do something about it.
Who this is for
This initiative is for individuals in the UAE who may have entered into a loan, financing, credit, or instalment-sale arrangement that was unfair, excessive, unclearly disclosed, or possibly not properly licensed — and who may now be facing heavy mark-ups, interest, fees, penalties, or aggressive collection.
You do not need to know whether anything was “illegal.” That is not for you to decide, and it is not what we ask of you. Your role is simply to tell us honestly what happened and share the paperwork — our lawyers will assess it.
What we may be able to do
After reviewing your situation, and only where we believe it is appropriate, our lawyers may be able to:
- Raise your matter with the relevant government or regulatory authorities.
- Communicate or negotiate with the lender, supplier, or finance provider on your behalf.
- Seek a restructuring, reduction, waiver, or settlement of what is owed.
- Pursue legal proceedings where that is the right step.
- Where many people are affected by the same provider or programme, group matters together for coordinated review and action.
