Experienced Advocates

Duties

1. To develop and maintain client relationships.
2. To interact with clients.
3. To develop and take initiatives to procure business / new clients for the Firm.
4. To give legal advice within the corporate commercial practice

Responsibilities

1. To initiate new client relationships and business sources.
2. To develop existing business and clientele.
3. To attend business seminars and client events.
4. To interpret laws, rules and regulations.
5. To attend business seminars and client events.
6. To be responsible for interacting with clients on matters handled.
7. To prepare legal briefs, develop strategies, arguments, and testimony in preparation for a case.
8. To discuss with colleagues from relevant practice areas / departments various legal issues and thereby bring out the best strategy for handling cases.
9. To draft negotiate and execute contracts.
10. To advise clients on their legal rights and obligations.
11. To supervise, coordinate activities and mentor junior associates within the department.

Requirements

1. Must possess a minimum of 3-5 years experience in senior legal roles.
2. Strong negotiation skills and firm experience of dealing with contracts.
3. Strong analytical skills.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
